With reports on Google+ (G+ for short) uptake superheating the blogosphere Google’s first major foray into social networking seems to have hit the spot. Copying the very successful join-by-invitation only model first trialled with Gmail, Google+ offers the same approach to superb, functionality, a responsive interface and the ability to use it pretty much the way you want to.
These days it seems like Google makes us start each day with yet a new experiment and today is no exception. WDYL is an acronym which stands for ‘What Do You Love’. The search button is a heart and this is a totally Google product which mashes up all of its different search products in a way which is, well… kinda lovable.
Hand up those who feel a nostalgia for the good ‘ol days when optimizing a website meant putting in place some meta tags, adding a couple of keywords and then filling in the phone number which passed for your search engine optimizer’s fee, in the invoice, before heading for some quality snowboarding.
