Why a best-selling SEO eBook makes better sense than paper

When it comes to search engine optimization an eBook is usually of greater help than its paper cousin for  many different reasons:

  1. 1. The obvious one – you get it delivered immediately without waiting for the postman to show up with your book so you can start to optimize your website.
  2. 2. Every eBook comes with a powerful search function. Whether you bought it as a PDF or a Mobibook which can be read on your mobile phone or an Amazon Kindle book it is easier to look through, easier to dip into and you can search via keyword so you can, at any time, find the subject you want without trying too hard.
  3. 3. It’s easy to find links. Even with the easiest URLs in the world, after a while typing them out individually begins to get a little tedious. An eBook gets round this issue by providing URLs which are instantly clickable so that you can, normally, just go to each site you need to get to as easily as possible.
  4. 4. Ultimately portable – whether you want to check on an idea you just had and see if it is possible to make it work on the web or whether you want to double-check on the validity of something you just heard regarding SEO, an eBook carried out about on a smartphone, laptop or eBook reader provides a means to do so fast.
  5. 5. You can annotate it – most eBook readers allow you to make your own notes on the book itself. When it comes to reading something technical such as search engine optimization and deciding how that fits in with your website’s online marketing, the ability to make notes, jot down ideas or pen quick questions to be checked later is a valuable one.
  6. 6. You can bookmark specific pages – when it comes to something in particular which you came across which you really need to put into effect in your own website, an eBook allows you the flexibility to simply bookmark the pages you want and get to them fast, when you have to.

I know paper holds an appeal which is the result of convention and familiarity but in the internet age tree-based information channels are a little passé. When it comes to getting information instantly and in as many flexible ways as possible then an eBook is the only logical option.
