At Help My SEO we are asked, consistently, what tricks to use to make sure a website is placed consistently high in search engine results organically. We would honestly like to divulge some trick that would really work fast to give you those results but the truth is that if you are working with ethical optimisation of a website using White Hat SEO techniques the results take time to come through.
They last longer and are more consistent but SEO work is always unpredictable which is why we never recommend optimising a website just for one (or even a handful) key search terms. The SEO effort has to be scattered evenly across more than 300 search terms which need to be carefully thought about and targeted in order to have the desired result.
That way you never rely on traffic coming form just one source.
