I never read Horoscopes. If I thought that the time of my birth created a pre-determined time-stream for me which could, somehow, be divined in the positions stars assume as they go about their gravitationally controlled orbits across the universe, I would be suggesting you SEO your website according to the trail left by the casting of bones upon a papyrus sheet.
Instead, I write books on SEO and Social Media Marketing based upon precise analysis and the impact of actions driven by a strict, underlying logic which is itself grounded in hard facts and a certain amount of mathematics. So, why the Dragon picture and well wishes for the Chinese New Year?
Well, beyond the fact that there should never be the need to find a reason for a party, social moments with some significance (Christmas, Hanukkah , Diwali – the list goes on) also provide a mental stimulus which should never be overlooked and ought never to be underestimated. While understandably, scientific data on this will be sparse, I am willing to bet that spurred by ‘The Year of the Dragon’ moment there will be many an entrepreneur who will make a success out of 2012 when, they might otherwise have just ambled along.
Plus, the ability of moments like this to help us focus, reflect, think and reach new levels inside our own minds makes them truly priceless. So, rather than spend more valuable time reading: Kung Hei Fat Choi, (may prosperity be with you) – have a blast!
For those who need to let the moment unfurl in their minds, here’s a link to what the Dragon Year means.
