When an expert SEO sets out to dominate Google’s first page for a particular search term (such as ‘SEO Help Book’) it is never really fair. After all understanding how search engines work and what should be done in order to have them index a particular website properly, or show up specific results for specific search queries is what helps me make a living.
The proof of the pudding however is always in the eating and not doing it seems to use way too much reverse psychology to actually make a workable point so it took about a week’s work to bag 6 out of a possible ten places on Google’s first page for SEO Help Book.
It helps to know also that SEO Help: 20 steps to get your website to Google’s #1 page is gaining ground and fans. As a writer, after I had finished writing it, I was incapable of judging just how good or bad it might be. I knew there were parts I could have done differently and there is a lot more information I might have included. Then again I really wanted it to work fast and work for webmasters at almost any level and any experience. Judging by the emails I get this seems to have worked exactly as I had expected.
Over the next few weeks ‘SEO Help Book’ is going to increase its saturation level on Google’s first page and, inevitably, begin to dominate both the second and third pages as well. To achieve this I use exactly the techniques detailed in the book. It’s my pudding and I am eating it. How’s that for proof?
